Reader Account Policy

Registration

  1. Reader account is free; no annual subscription or any fees imposed for becoming the reader in Wonderbuuk.
  2. Reader account is bind to 1 email only.
  3. For registration process, you can log into our Wonderbuuk platform and click on the top right corner for registration.
  4. You must be 18 years of age or over to register with us.
  5. If you do not qualify under these Terms of Use, do not register or create an Account. By creating an Account, you represent and warrant that you have the right, authority and capacity to enter into these Terms of Use and to abide by all of the terms and conditions set forth herein.
  6. Upon becoming a reader, you can purchase books at our platform at your own cost.
  7. Purchasing eBooks in Wonderbuuk platform means you can own it permanently. The eBooks will be available for you to read in the reader dashboard forever.
  8. Some E-books or Reader Generated Contents that are accessible on or through the Platform may not be suitable or appropriate for children under the age of 18. For this reason, parents or guardians who wish to allow their children to access the Platform should carefully supervise their children's access to and use of the E-book, Reader Generated Content or Platform and determine whether or not such E-book or Reader Generated Contents are appropriate for their children.
  9. Each reader account is allowed to log in to 5 devices concurrently.

Do and Don’t Policy

Upon signing up as reader in Wonderbuuk, there are some ethics that readers need to take responsible of as below:

Do

  • By using our services, including browsing our site, you promise to observe these principles.
  • You promise to respect copyright and otherwise observe the law. That is, you promise to not use the eBook that we have supplied other than on the terms upon which it was supplied to you.
  • You promise to pay for our products and services for all the purchases.
  • You promise to provide us with accurate information.

Don't

  • use the Platform for unlawful, commercial, and non-personal purposes and for any purpose that is illegal or prohibited by these Terms of Use and applicable laws;
  • compromise the safety and security of any computer, mobile phone and/or any other equipment and/or hardware you use to access the Platform;
  • upload, post or transmit any material or information which is offensive, defamatory, obscene, explicit, unlawful, false, misleading, vulgar, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing or ethnically objectionable;
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform, user accounts, computer systems or networks through hacking, password mining or any other means;
  • upload, post or transmit any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or promotional materials, “junk mail”, “spam”, “pyramid schemes”;
  • engage in any conduct which will violate any law or infringe our intellectual property rights or those of any third party in relation to your use of the Platform;
  • upload, post or transmit any material which contains viruses, malicious codes or other computer codes, files or programs which are designed to limit or destroy the functionality or compromise the integrity of other computer software or hardware;
  • impersonate any person or entity, falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity in connection with the Platform;
  • express or imply that any statements you make are endorsed by us without our specific prior written consent;
  • use any robot, spider, or other device or process to retrieve, index, or in any way reproduce or circumvent the navigational structure or presentation of the Platform;
  • "frame" or "mirror" any part of the Platform, without our prior written authorization;
  • use any code or other devices containing any reference to us or the Platform to direct persons to any other website and/or service;
  • use the content contained on the Platform for any illegal, fraudulent or harmful purpose;
  • use the Platform in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden and/or impair the operation of the Platform, our servers or networks, or interfere with any other party's use and enjoyment of the Platform, or violate any requirements, procedures, policies or regulations of such networks;
  • use the Platform to violate the privacy or otherwise collect or store personal data of other users; and
  • publicly disseminate information regarding the performance of the Platform or access or use the Platform for competitive analysis or benchmarking purposes.

Termination / Deletion of the Account

  1. You may modify or delete your Account through your user account settings. You acknowledge and agree that upon deletion of your Account:
    • you will not be able to purchase or loan any E-books;
    • you will not be entitled to any refund of the E-books which you purchased;
    • you will not able to purchase hardcopy / printed books; and
    • all your Account information on the Platform including without limitation the Registration Details and transaction history will be permanently deleted from our database.
  2. In such event, you will not be able to reinstate your Account if you wish to access the E-book which you have purchased and you will have to create a new Account.
  3. You acknowledge and agree that upon creation of your new account, all past transactions from your old account will not be migrated to your new account.
  4. Despite the deletion of your Account, you acknowledge and agree that copies of your information may remain accessible elsewhere, specifically in relation to the extent that it has been previously shared with others, or if it was copied or stored by other users.
  5. Notwithstanding anything contained in these Terms of Use, any provisions in these Terms of Use which are capable of having effect after the termination of your registration shall remain in full force and effect following the termination of your Account.

Limitation

We may block, terminate and/or suspend your Account immediately, if there has been a breach of these Terms of Use, the Policies or other policies and terms posted on the Platform by you or by someone using your Registration Details. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any termination and/or suspension of your access to the Platform. Further, you agree not to attempt to use the Platform after any such termination and/or suspension.

Purchase of Books

Continued Access to Purchased eBooks

When you purchase an eBook from Wonderbuuk, the eBook will be available at your reader dashboard and will generally remain available for you read through web-access or through Wonderbuuk mobile app installed at all kind of devices.

All eBooks purchased from Wonderbuuk are not allow for download. It is only allow for online-read via web browser and also offline-read via mobile app.

Reading eBook via web browser

The eBooks you have purchased will be available at your reader dashboard upon login. You may click “Read” to access the eBook for online reading experience.

PDF eBook can be read on our pdf reader; while ePub can be read on our ePub reader onboard only; and once again no download is allowed in Wonderbuuk.

All type of web-browser is allowed for your online reading – Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Safari, Opera and others.

Reading eBook via mobile app

Download Wonderbuuk mobile app from Google Play Store or Apple Store. Login to your own reader account and access to your own reader dashboard to read your purchased eBooks.

Select to “Purchased Ebook” and click ‘Download’. Upon completion of ‘download’, you may click to “Offline Ebook”, select to eBook you have download and start reading.

The eBooks ‘download’ concept is to provide convenience of offline-reading experience to Reader. The eBooks is literally not ‘download’, and it does not allow re-distribution due to the copyrights of the eBooks on this platform. It is only to provide offline-reading experience to you.

Purchase of printed books (hardcopy)

Readers can also purchase printed books/ hardcopy books from Wonderbuuk. You are required to provide the accurate information at your profile. That’s including:

  • Name
  • Phone Number
  • Delivery Address

Printed books (hardcopy) in Wonderbuuk are display as a soft-green box, with various selection of titles and subjects. The availability of the hardcopy books is declared by the seller.

Delivery of Hardcopy

Delivery of hardcopy is available for within Malaysia only. The order of hardcopy will be processed by seller to ship to your delivery address declared in your profile upon your successful of order payment and order process.
All hardcopy books purchased are recorded in reader dashboard. You have the access right to track on the shipping delivery status of the hardcopy books on your dashboard.

Shipping Charges

Shipping charges for hardcopy is based on the weight and dimension of the book. The shipping charges rate is based on 2 courier operators on Wonderbuuk – J&T Express and Ninjavan.
Shipping charges is bear by readers upon checking-out the hardcopy during payment and also will be calculated based on the delivery location within Malaysia.

Claim and Return Policy

In this claims policy:
Platform” means the E-book platform known as “Wonderbuuk”.
“Reader” means a person who purchased or loaned an E-book on the Platform.
“Seller” means a person who published and/or distributed an E-book on the Platform.
“Wonderbuuk Admin” means the administrator of the Platform who manages the content and maintains the functionality of the Platform.

eBooks

  1. A Reader is able to make a claim relating to the E-book if the content of the E-book does not match the E-book’s description on the Platform (“Claim”) within 3 days of purchase.
    a. After 3 days has lapsed from the day of purchase, the “Claim” button in the Reader’s account will be disabled and the Reader will no longer be able to make any Claims through the Platform. The Reader will need to contact the Wonderbuuk Admin at assistant@wonderbuuk.com to enable Lemonjar to manually process the Claim.
    b. If the E-book has been purchased by a Reader, the Seller will not be able to change or update the content of the E-book. The Seller will need to write to Lemonjar and request for the right to update the content of the E-book if needed.
  2. Once the Reader makes a Claim, the Claim will need to be verified by Wonderbuuk Admin. Wonderbuuk Admin will check and approve the Claim once it has determined that the Claim is valid as described by the Reader.
  3. Upon approval of the Claim by Wonderbuuk Admin, the Seller will be notified through the Platform that a Claim is being made against the Seller, and the Seller is required to process the Claim.
  4. The Seller will need to check the content of the E-book and edit the description relating to the E-book or modify the contents of the E-book (as the case may be). Once the editing or modification is completed, the Seller will then need to upload the edited and/or modified E-book on the Platform.
    a. If the Seller would like to update the content of the E-book, the Seller will need to follow the steps in paragraph 1(b).
  5. Once the Claim has been resolved or rectified, the E-book will be accessible by the Reader on the Platform. In the event the Reader has loaned the E-book, the loan period of the E-book will reset to day 1 and continue for the loan period selected.
  6. If the Seller does not take steps to resolve the Claim within 3 days of receiving the Claim notification on the Platform, Wonderbuuk Admin will step in to process the Claim and proceed to deduct the income of the E-book collected and refund the price of the E-book to the Reader.
  7. If there are complaints by the public or where it is discovered by Wonderbuuk Admin that the content submitted by the Seller contains explicit content, the E-book will be blocked by Wonderbuuk Admin on the Platform for breach of the Seller’s terms and conditions.
  8. In the event of an occurrence of the breach in paragraph 7,
    a. The Reader will not be able to make a Claim.
    b. The Seller will not be able to receive the income from the blocked E-book.

Hardcopy / Printed Books:

  1. A Reader may request a return or replacement if your printed book meets one or more of the following conditions:
    • Defective or Damaged Book: The book arrives with manufacturing defects (e.g., missing pages, printing errors, torn cover, or binding issues).
    • Incorrect Book Received: You received a different title or edition from what was ordered.
    • Damaged During Delivery: The book was visibly damaged during shipment.
  2. Books must be returned in the same condition as received, with original packaging (if applicable).
  3. Wonderbuuk is NOT able to accept returns or issue refunds in the following situations:
    • Change of mind, wrong selection, or accidental purchase.
    • Books showing signs of wear, writing, or highlighting not caused by delivery damage.
    • Items not purchased directly through Wonderbuuk (e.g., third-party resellers).
    • Discounted, clearance, or final-sale items unless damaged or incorrect.
  4. All return or claim requests must be made within 7 days of receiving your order. Requests made after this period may not be accepted.

  6. For if the purchased book is damaged, defective, or incorrect, Wonderbuuk seller will cover the return shipping costs or provide a prepaid return label. For all other cases, return shipping costs will be borne by the customer.
  7. Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you by email of the approval or rejection of your refund/replacement.
  8. If approved:
    i) Replacement: A new copy of the same title will be shipped at no extra cost to reader.
    ii) Refund: The refund amount will be issued to your bank within 7–14 working days.
  9. If your order has not arrived, or not within the estimated delivery timeframe:
    • Please contact to Wonderbuuk Customer Support within 14 days from the expected delivery date.
    • We will investigate with the courier and provide a replacement or refund if the item is confirmed lost.
  10. Orders can be cancelled before dispatch only. Once shipped, cancellations are not possible.
  11. In case of a successful cancellation before dispatch, a full refund will be issued to your WonderWallet.
  12. Liability Disclaimer

    Wonderbuuk are not responsible for below conditions:

    • Delays caused by postal or courier services.
    • Loss or damage occurring after confirmed delivery.
    • Content dissatisfaction (e.g., plot, language, or author perspective).

WonderWallet

This section explain the WonderWallet in Wonderbuuk – Usage and the refund policy of the “Wallet” for all eligible transaction, in according with our Return and Refund Policy in applicable to consumer protection law of Malaysia.
The WonderWallet is not a bank account and does not accrue interest.

Overview of WonderWallet

“WonderWallet”, the Wonderbuuk credit wallet is a new feature in Wonderbuuk to provide secure and convenient digital wallet feature designed to enhance user experience within the Wonderbuuk ecosystem. It serves as a central balance account where users can store, manage, and utilize credits for various transactions across the Wonderbuuk platform.

Usage of WonderWallet

“WonderWallet”, the Wonderbuuk credit wallet allows reader to perform seamless, cashless transactions within the platform, ensuring quick and flexible payment for the purchase of eBooks and printed books.

Coverage of usage including:

  • Purchase of printed books and e-books within Wonderbuuk.
  • Payment for delivery or service fees (where applicable).
  • Refund crediting from returns, cancellations, or promotional activities.
  • Partially pay for an order (if the Wallet balance is less than the total amount).
  • Other future features.

Wallet funds cannot be transferred to other users.

Credit Top-Up

Readers can add funds to their Wonderbuuk Wallet using multiple payment methods, including online banking, credit/debit cards, or e-wallet payment gateways. The top-up amount will be reflected in the user’s wallet balance immediately or within a short processing time depending on the payment provider. Credits in the Wonderbuuk Wallet do not have expiry period. The top-up credits will remain valid as long as the account is active.

Usage of Credits

WonderWallet credits can be used as a payment method during checkout. If the wallet balance is insufficient, users may combine wallet credits with other payment methods to complete the transaction. All wallet activities, including top-ups, purchases, and refunds, are recorded and accessible through the Wallet Transaction History in the Reader’s account. This ensures transparency and traceability of all transactions.

Limitations

  1. Wallet balance cannot be transferred to another user.
  2. Wallet balance cannot be converted or withdrawn into cash or bank accounts.
  3. Refunds remain as store credit for future purchases.
  4. Exceptions may apply for overpayment or duplicate transactions, subject to case review by Customer Support.
  5. Wonderbuuk reserves the right to suspend or revoke wallet usage in the event of
    • Suspicious or fraudulent activities within the platform.
    • Abuse of the refund process
    • Fraudulent transactions, or
    • Violation of our Terms of Service or applicable laws.

Security and Privacy

The Wonderbuuk Wallet operates under strict data protection and payment security standards. All transactions are encrypted and monitored to prevent unauthorized access. User data and wallet balances are protected in compliance with applicable privacy and financial regulations.

Refund to Wallet Policy

This refund to Wallet Policy explains how refunds are credited to Wonderbuuk Wallet (“WonderWallet”) for eligible transactions, in accordance with our Return and Refund Policy and applicable consumer protection laws.

In cases of approved returns, cancellations, or refund claims, the refunded amount will be credited back to the user’s wallet balance. Users can utilize the refunded credits for future purchases within Wonderbuuk. Refunded credits are non-transferable and cannot be withdrawn to cash unless otherwise stated in specific refund programs or promotions.

When Refunds Are Issued to Wallet

Refunds will be credited to Reader’s Wallet in the following cases:

  1. Return or Replacement Requests: If your refund request for a printed book or eBooks is approved.
  2. Order Cancellation: If you cancel an order before it is processed or shipped. It applies to both eBooks and hardcopy / printed books.
  3. Failed Transactions: If your payment was successful but the order could not be completed.
  4. Promotional or Partial Refunds: When a partial refund or promotional compensation is issued (if applicable).

Refund Processing Time

Refunds to WonderWallet are typically processed within 3–5 working days after approval. Reader will receive a confirmation email upon refund is successfully approved, and after the refund is credited. In some cases (e.g., system maintenance or third-party payment gateway delays), processing may take up to 7–10 working days.

Error or Dispute in Wallet Balance

For any reader that believes the Wallet balance is incorrect or missing a refund:
